Why coaching?
Coaching is a process that helps managers and employees become aware of and make use of a greater part of their resources in relation to meeting their goals. Coaching is also a process where the individual develops his or her personal feeling of responsibility and is continuously motivated to see solutions and possibilities in relation to their own situation as well as to the company as a whole.
Rather than provide answers, coaching asks the questions that make the individual perform to the best of his or her ability.
How to complete a coaching process
A coaching process can be conducted as either an individual or collective process in connection with an organization change.
A general overview of both processes is described in the additional material. When it comes to concrete coaching processes, a customized process is developed in cooperation with each employee or company. This cooperation occurs around a common situation description, desires, purpose and the outcome is the foundation in coaching – i.e. start with the specific.
Before a particular process begins, the format, framework and goals are agreed upon in cooperation with the relevant person or company, and the final process is then customized to match.
